Mr. David Gregg

Mr. Gregg earned a BS in Speech at Northwestern University and MA in Social & Cultural Foundations in Education from DePaul University. He is a National Board Certified teacher in Social Studies and has been a faculty member at Nicholas Senn High School since 2004. He LOVES Senn!
Mr. Gregg became involved with the International Baccalaureate at Senn in 2007 as the Theory of Knowledge instructor for all IB Diploma Programme students. When Senn High School was approved by CPS in 2010 to pursue authorization for the IB Middle Years Programme, Mr. Gregg was selected to lead the effort as the programme's coordinator.
Mr. Gregg is also the Director of Admissions and Recruitment and has overseen a roughly 40% increase in enrollment at Senn High School since 2012.
Beyond Senn, Mr. Gregg contributes to the IB World Community as a member of the IB Educator Network. He volunteers for the IB to provide consultation to schools in the Americas region seeking MYP authorization, and serves as a workshop leader and an authorization and evaluation site visitor.
He also serves on the Board of Directors and is chair of the Legislative Committee of the Illinois IB Schools Association (IIBS). He recently worked on a successful campaign to get IB-related legislation passed in the state capitol. Public Act 099-0624 ensures that all public colleges and universities in Illinois will now award college credit to students earning a score of 4 or higher in an IB course.
